THE MOKAU DEAL.
A FURTHER LETTER
Palmerston North. July 2J. In a further letter to the Press regarding the Mokau property, Air. R. McNab states that the Company never approached Air. Carroll to issue the Order-in-Council. as such document was not required by them. The Company purchased the land from a Hawke’s Bay syndicate which had purchased from Air. Hermann Levis, who was seeking a purchaser of the property before tlie Alokau Company was formed.
