The fortnightly meeting of Karadu Lodge 47. 1.0.0. F.. A. 0.. was held at Hastings last evening, N.G. Bro. J. Chappell presiding. P.G. Bro. B. Bailey. Installing Officer, and P.G. Bro. W. W. Gibb. Grand Marshal of the Star of Napier Lodge, duly installed the following in the respective offices for the current term J.P.G.. Bro. J. Chappell ; N.G.. Bro. H. W. Pullin ; V.G.. Bro. Sehlitzktts : F. Sec.. Bro. J. Bamforih : Recording See.. Bro. B. M. Ke<-eil. Bro. J. Me- < •oiderii k. wh‘« is away with the hockey representatives, was declared installed as treasurer. The fol lowing minor officers were appointed :—Warden. Bro. AV. G. t’ha<lwiek: Conductor. Bro. If. L. Simson ; R.S.N.G.. Bro. W. (. W-inehconib : L.S.N.G.. Bro. A. E. O’Meara.
A committee consisting of Bro. Pullen. N.G.. Bro. Sec. Bamforth. and Bro. O Meara was set up to go into the matter of arranging for card evenings and to report at next meet ing. It was decided to a degree evening after the business is through on next Lodge night. The installing officers were accorded a hearty vote of thanks fortheir assistance. j This concluded the business. i
