A CAMP TRAGEDY.

MAN MURDERS HIS TWO MATES. , 8.45 a. m.s f * Perth, June 23. A tragedy has occurred at Übina, near Coolgardie. An Italian tim-ber-getter named Moffati was found wandering in the bush in a, demented condition. He stated he had killed his two companions, a fel-low-countryman named Vaimi, and' a German whose name is unknown. On a visit to the camp it was discovered that Vanni and the German were dead, of terrible wounds, apparently made with an axe. Moffati was very violent when arrested.
