ELLERSLIE TRACK NOTES, i (.PER PRESS ASSOCIATION.] ' Auckland, Afay 31. No work of importance was done on the flat at Ellerslie this morn-i ing beyond a fair bit of jumping.' Ribstone Pippin (Telford), Native; (Young) covered a round schooling; hurdles, the latter pleasing most.; Paisano (Thompson) jumped fivei hurdles, making a faulty jump at i the fourth; otherwise he fenced i well. Don Quex popped over a! couple of hurdles in good style. I Castle Blaney and Highlander went round the hurdles, the latter falling at the fourth hurdle, but was afterwards remounted and got over safely. Castout (Levy), Torbelle (Hall), jumped big fences on the flat, fencing in good style. The arrivals of yesterday were taken out on usual tasks. Flynn, who was injured yester-i day, is still suffering pain, but! doing as well as can be expected.
