NAPIER CLUB. The first of the club competitions, a Handicap Bogey Match, was played at the Waiohiki links on Saturday. The following were the best results handed in :— ‘‘A” Class. G. F. Thornburn (2), all square.

Kelly (7), 6 down. "B” Class. A. Al. Retemeyer (It), 2 down. Dr. Edgar (12). 6 down. N. White (13). 6 down. A. D. Brown (13), 7 down. J. Hindmarsh, jun. (12). 9 down. HASTINGS CLUB. The Hastings Golf Club played their first match of the season on Saturday afternoon, when there was a large attendance of members. Afternoon tea was provided by the Misses Baird. The match was won by A. (). Well wood with a gross score of 87. handicap 4, net 83. Mr. Banks was second with a gross score of 92, handicap 4, net 88.
