SATURDAY’S GAMES. MEN’S SENIOR, ' A” GRADE. NAPIER' 6) v. BIBLE CLASS (1). These teams met on Nelson Park. The Napier forwards showed greatly inmproved form to that of the previous Saturday, and the superior combination of their forwards enabled them to win by 6 goals to J- Grange and Mackie (.3 each)
scored for Xapicr. and 11. Thompson notched the goal for Bible Class.. Mr. R. Hicks was referee. MERCANTILE (7) V. lIERETAUNGA (2). The Mercantile had the best of this game from the start, their forwards being fast and playing with. ; good combinations. The Heretann-' ga forwards played well, but the • hack division was rather weak. UNITED mt The above match was played at Cornwall Park on Saturday/ Hast ings winning by 5 goals to nil. For the winners goals were registered by Poppelwell (2), Wall t?}. and Tong. Mr. H.
