AN EXCITING TIME.
CRUISER AND SUBMARINE.
Sydney, April 25.
The cruiser Edgar arrived from England with relief crews for the Torch, Sealark, and Fantome. The Edgar had an exciting time towing the submarine C3B from fines to Singapore. During a heavy blow the towlines parted, and the submarine was two days knocking about under it* own steam and practically submerged by the heavy seas. The crew were on short allowance. When the weather moderated, towing was resumed.
