MONDAY. APRIL 24th.

DRUNKENNESS.

Three first offenders for drunkenness were each fined £l and costs, in default 48 hours’ imprisonment with hard labour. As the last two bad work to go to. they were given 24 hours in which to pay the fine.

CASES REMANDED. The case brought by Dr. T. C. Moore against Stanley Hay for causing damage to his motor car by colliding with it was by some oversight brought up for hearing to-day. As to-day was a ( ourt holiday, the case was remanded until Monday next. A case against Albert H Collin for breach of a Borough by-law was similarly remanded.
