DETECTIVE SERGEANTS.
BANK CONFERRED ON MEN OF TEN YEARS’ SERVICE.
Wellington, April 1.
The new rank of detective sergeant will be conferred on detect-ives-who have had ten years’ service as detectives, and are recommended by their inspectors. Only four detectives at present come within the scope of the regulation so far as service is concerned.
