FURTHER EVIDENCE. (Received 28, 9.23 a.m.) Perth, Mar. 28. In the Chaffinch case, the evidence given by a number of expert witnesses, including the assayer, is opposed to the rumoured salting, and went to prove that the gold-bearing Stone found still existed in the trench, and that hornblende was amongst the minerals composing the reef.
