REORGANISATION OF THE ROYAL COLLEGE. (Received 28, 8.5 a.m.) London, Mar. 27. Twenty-eight leading artists have sent a memorial to the Prime Minister declaring in view of the great developments of industrial art institutions in the United States, Germany, other countries and British Overseas Dominions, since the Prince Consort’s death, a comprehensive inquiry by a Royal Commission in the interests of the nation is imperative before reorganising the Royal College of Art.
