Bates’ report for 24 hours from 9 a.m. this day is as follows: —Moderate to strong westerly winds, unsteady, and probably veering south after sixteen hours; there are indications for change then ; expect showery and changeable weather; glass rise slowly after 24 hours; sea moderate. Notice is given that Robert Heffer, of Hastings, yardman, has been adjudged bankrupt and a meeting of his creditors will be held at the Hastings Courthouse to-morrow, Thursday, at 10.30 a.m.
