WEST COAST CHAMPIONSHIP. Hawera, Feb. 23. The West .Coast Swimming Championship took place at Hawera yesterday, in beautiful weather. Results: —100 Yards Breast Stroke Championship: A. Squire, Hawera; C. E. Jagg, Wanganui, 29 l-ssec. 440 Yards Championship :R. Foden, Hawera; A. Hardy, Wanganui. Time, 6min. 32 l-ssec. 100 Yards Championship: W. J. Claringbold, Hawera; P. Fankuch, New Plymouth. Time, Imin. 8 3-5 sec. 220 Yards Championship: R. Foden, 1 Claringbold 2. Time, 2min 58 3-ssec.
