ACCIDENTS AND DEATHS.
LITTLE BOY DROWNED. Gisborne, Feb. 20. The three-year-old son of Mr. John Christie fell into the river at Waimata Valley yesterday while playing with his brother, and was drowned. DEATH FROM HEART FAILURE.
Hawera, Feb. 20. Patrick Phelan, aged 56, a single man, who was a visitor at from Greymouth, died suddenly at 12.15 Sunday morning of heart failure.
