KING’S THEATRE, HASTINGS.
A new programme of extraordinary interest was shown to a well filled house at the King’s Theatre on Saturday night. The dramatic studies were all exceptionally good and very pleasing. They were .entitled “The Engineer’s Daughter,” “A Wireless Romance,” “The Slave of Carthage,” and “The Salutary Lesson,” the latter story being especially favoured. The audience were keenly delighted by the travel pictures, “Scenes in Devon,” and “Interlaken to Brienz.” A fair amount of applause greeted “Pathe’s Gazette” and the industry filin “The Wonders of the Geomatograph.” Screamingly funny comics were “Priscut gets employment,” and “Traveling Free.”
