WEDDING.

WILLIAM®—MILLS. Many relations and friends were present in St. John’s Cathedral, Napier, yesterday, at the extreme* ly pretty wedding of Miss Leslie Mills, only daughter of Mr, and Mrs. Mills, of Auckland, and Mr. H. Carlton Williams, second son of Mr. Henry WiDiams, of Dunedin.

Palms and white flowers decorated the chancel.

The service was conducted byBishop Williams, cousin of the bridegroom.

The bride was given away by her father and was attired in ivory satin, opening over a panel of Valenciennes lace. She veil, over a wreath of orange blossoms, pearl and diamond and carried a lovely shower - bouquet of white begonias, tuber roses, and white star bouvardias, with trailers of fine asparagus fern. The. bride was attended by three* bridesmaids, one of them a dainty little girl, Miss Betty Williams, in a white muslin Kate Greenaway frock, mauve sash, white muslin fichu fastened at one side with a bunch of violets, white lace cap with mauve ribbons, and a bunch of violets clasped tightly in her hand. Miss Violet Williams (sister' of the bridegroom) and Miss Gossett were attired in mauve crystaL ine frocks, low cross-over bodices A fastened at one side with bunches A of violets, and large violet velvet »> Romney hats turned up at. one side with bunches of violets, and the crowns encircled with narrow <• bands of silver.

Mr. Nolan, of Gisborne, acted as best man, and Mr. Claud Williams (brother of the bridegroom) as groomsman. / A reception was held, after the wedding at the Masonic Hotel. < Mrs. Mills, mother of the bride, wore a lovely pale grey satin gown and carried a bouquet of hothouse pink begonias, touched with a dark shade of violet, shading off to pale heliotrope. Mrs. Henry mother of the - bridegroom, grey , silk with silver trimming, white and silver toque. Mrs. Buller (aunt tf the bride), black chiffon with. touches of white, lace, black and gold toque, pink siiower bouquet. Miss Buller, mauve crepe, with underskirt of mauve satin, black and mauve hat, shower bouquet of. two shades of heliotrope asters and larkspur, ana maiden-hair fern. Mrs. Alec Williams, green silk, black hat. Mrs. W. T. Williams, violet taffeta, white feather boa, and black hat. Miss Dorothy Williams, pink and white muslin, white hat with pink roses. Mrs. Allen Williams, black chiffon muslin over; white silk, mauve scarf. Mrs. Warren, pale grey, pink feather boa. Miss Evelyn’ Wil l * liams, white cloth, black satin scarf. Mrs. Douglas Williams, blue coat and s’.irt, mole hat wreathed in blue flowers. Mrs. Edric Williams, vieux rose, hat io match. Mrs. Hector Smith, green chiffon, burnt-straw hat with * green wings. Mrs. Nelson, black and white. Miss Edith Williams, heliotrope coat and skirt, black and heliotrope'hat. Miss Williams, black voile with touches of white lace. Miss M» Williams, black and white lace scarf. Mrs. Bernau, blue poplin coat and skirt, black hat with clusters of pink and white roses. Miss Ada Williams, black with white net. Miss Ellen Williams, black and white voile, black lace scarf. Miss Enid Williams, white embroidered muslin, white hat trimmed with pink roses. Mrs. Frank Nelson, blue and silver veiled with black, black hat. Mrs. Cyril Williams, blue coat and skirt, white feather boa.

The bride’s travelling costume was a mauve poplin coat and skirt, with hat to match.
