CARPENTERS’ DEMANDS. Auckland, Jan. 23. The Auckland Carpenters’ Union is app smg for a new award of 44 hours a week, and increase of wages from I 4 to I 6 per hour. There are 609 carpenters belonging to Auckland branch. Trade is particularly good.
