LONDON, December 23. As the Sultan of Morocco has declined to receive additional officers to strengthen the French military mission to Fez, France has ordered all Frenchmen at Fez, including the consul, to return to Tangiers. ■A December 24. The tribesmen who surrounded Alka-za-el-Kebir, and demanded the surrender of the French consul and several British subjects, have been pacified with a gift of money, and have withdrawn from the vicinity of the town. (Received December 27, ft.35 a.m.) December 26. The British consul and all other Europeans are quitting Fez.
