Holiday excursion tickets to Hastings and Napier, available for return until OCTOBER 24th, 1904, will be obtainable ns under:— From Woodville, Hatuma, and Inter* mediate stations on October 18th, 19th, and 20th. Prom Waipukurau, Paki Pakl, and intermediate stations on October 19th and 20th. NOTE.—On October 20th these Tickets will be issued only by the Morning Trains (leaving Woodville at 6.30 a.m., and Waipukurau at 7.10. 9.45, and 10.5 a.m.). They will be available for break of journey only at Hastings Show Grounds Platform or Hastings. SPECIAL TICKETS to Hastings Show Grounds, available for return on date of issue only, will be obtainable as under;— ON WEDNESDAY. OCTOBER 19thProm Napier and Awatoto—First Class 3s 6d: Second Class 2s 6d Prom Farndon—First Class 2s 8d; Second Class 2s. (Including Admission to Show Grounds.) These Tickets will be available only by the Trains leaving Napier at 9.25. 11.20 a.m., and 1.30 p.m.; Show Grounds Platform at 4.52 p.m.; and Hastings at 5.0, 7.15, and 9.15 p.m. ON THURSDAY, OCTOBER 20thFrom Napier and Awatoto—Carriages 3s 6d; Seated Waggons 2s 6a. Proni Farndon—Carriages 2s 8d; Seated Waggons 2s. (Including Admission to Show Grounds.) These Tickets will be available by all Trains except the Mail Trains.
TRAIN ARRANGEMENTS On WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 19th, (First Day.) The ordinary Trains leaving Napier for Hastings at 9.25 a.m., 11.20 a.m., and 1.30 p.m. will run to Show Grounds Platform. The Train usually leaving Hastings for Napier at 5.0 p.m. will start from Show Grounds Platform at 4.52 p.m.; Hastings depart as usual. An extra Train will leave fastings for Napier at 7.15 p.m., return Train leaving Napier for Hastings at 10.15 p.m. All Trains, except Mail Trains, will stop at Show Grounds Platform if required. On THURSDAY, October 20th (People’s Day), Napier-Port Ahuriri Trains will not run.
The usual 6.5 a.m. Train, Woodville to Napier, will be altered and run as follows:—Woodville dep., 6.30 a.m., Dannevirke 7.35, Waipukurau 9.45, Hastings 11.40, Napier arr. 12.28 p.m. This Train will not atop between Waipuku* ran and Show Grounds. Passengers for intermediate stations will require to change at Waipukurau to Train leaving there at 10.5 a.m. The usual 2.15 p.m. Train. Napier to Woodville, will be delayed and run as follows:—Napier dep. 3.42 p.m., Farndon 4.5, Hastings 4.47, Show Grounds 4.52, Kaikora 6.28, Waipawa 6.45, Wai* pukurau 7.10. Takapau 7.55, Dannevirke 9.25. Woodville arr. 10.15 p.m. The usual 5.0 p.m. Train, Napier to Waipukurau. will be delayed and run as follows:—Napier dep. 6.5 p.m., Farn* don 6.33, Hastings 7.0, Kaikora 8.25, and Waipawa 8.40. A Train for Show Grounds and Napier, stopping at all stations ns required, will leave Waipukurau 10.5 a.m., Waipawa 10.25, Kaikora 10.40, Hastings 12.17 p.m.. Napier arr. 12.55. A Train for Waipukurau, stopping at all stations as required to set down Passengers, will leave Napier 3.0 p.m., and Show Grounds at 4.15 p.m. The ordinary running of the Hastings* Napier local Trains will be suspended, and Trains will run as follows: For HASTINGS and SHOW GROUNDS —Napier dep. 9.0, 9.45, 10.15, 11.0, 11.30 a.m., 12.35, 1.30, 2.30 p.m. For HASTINGS—Napier dep. 4.30, 7.0 and 7.35 p.m. Farndon dep. 4.48, 7.20 and 7.55 p.m. For NAPIER—Show Grounds dep. 3.45, 4.40, 5.10 5.43 p.ra. Hastings dep. 8.5, 10.13, 11.20 a.m., 1.50, 4.45, 5.17. 5.50 and 8.5 p.m.
NOTE.—The Trains leaving and Show Grounds at 11.0 a.m. and 3.45 p.m. respectively, will not stop botween Napier and Show Grounds Platform. All Trains except Mail Trains will stop at Show Grounds Platform if required. The Goods Sheds at Port Ahuriri. Napier, and Hastings will be closed on October 20th.
