HEAVY BAIN AT GREYMOUTH.
Grethouth, Monday. There was rain all Sunday. To-day the river iB heavily flooded. Damage to the town not apprehended. The rain has ceased inland. Dobson No. 2 dredge broke away and drifted down the river opposite the racecourse.
