CHINESE CRISIS.
RESPECT FOR OFFICIALS. CAMPAIGN AGAINST BOXERS. DISCOVEBY AT MUKDEN. . Received Ootober 29, 8.4S a.m. Hong Kong, Ootober 28. Extreme respeot is evinced by the commanding officers of the allied troops for the susceptibilities of the Chinese officials, for although the murder of the missionaries deprived the Paoting-fii expedition of all value, no punishment was inflicted. Only a limited number of troops marched through Paoting-fu. Yushien, Governor of Shan-ai, has committed suioide. The Maharajah of Scindia has beeu attaohed to Lieutenant-General Gaselee's staff. A Russo-German detachment with Frenoh artillery is preparing to attack 10,000 Boxers and disbanded Chinese regulars south west of Tung-ohau. When the Russians captured Mukden they found copies of the Chinese Governor's proclamation of war against all foreigners, as well as evidence of the subsequent massaore by the Boxers of 400 Chinese converts.
