BOERS MOVING NORTH.
(Central News Agency.) Spitz Kop, September 18. The Boers trekking northwards from Hectorspruit are plainly discernible from thia camp. The enemy have mounted a gun above Crocodile Biver at the same spot from which, they were shelled a few days ago. It is believed that the gun has been buried in a donga since, and has now been unearthed, On Tuesday, General yiljeon, Botha's successor, was reported to be moving from Hectorßpruit, two stations from Komati Poott, northwards, with about 3000 men and 30 guns. He can move under that berg through the Selati district, and then westward to join De Wet. fiaa accounts for the entire enemy's force. Viljoen, who is known as a firebrand, will probably endeavor to protract the war for his own glorification. A few burghers are surrendering here daily, their desire being to save their cattle. There is nothing at present to indioate a general desire on the part of the Boers to surrender. General Botha is at Kapmuiden.
