Acoording to the prosecutor, all the children are attending the Catholic schools, though no formal exemption from attending public schools had been obtained. In one case called on the truant officer stated that the notice had been served on the wife of the defendant. As all the other cases were on a similar footing, the prosecutor withdrew them, and fresh proceedings would be taken.
