A TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. . Received September I,lam. Berne, August 13. Messrs Jones and Hill, both professors of tbe City of London School, -with their guides, were nearing the summit; of the Dent on the Blanche Zermott, when the leaders slipped and fell over the precipice. The weight snapped the rope. Hill, hanging to the end of the rope fastened to a rock, was the sole survivor of the party.
