[TIPS JjT "X-iiTIAJVIWJ The Hawke's Bay Jockey Club's autumn meeting will open to-day, and the weather gives promise of holding fine, although Captain Edwin predicts that the atmosphere will bo much colder. The coureo is in excellent condition, and gives promise of suiting most of the animals engaged. Special trains will run from Napier at 11 a.m., 11.16 a.m., and 1 p.m.; also from Danevirke and Waipukurau i downwards. Ihe Napier City Band will wive a fine selection of music during the day, while Mr Winsley will have the catering as usual for luncheon rooms, and Mr A.. Ellingham will run the refreshment bars.
