The Official Beceiver states that Hoolsy lited at the rate of ten thousand a year, and a year's payments tp secure directors amounted to £40,000. The Official Beceiver reports that Hooley's, assets, ,£107,8<15, ie equal to 4s inthewSl. . .Extravagant payments were paid to secure' directors to the sompantes in which he was interested, and his misconduct and fraud respecting the Beeston Tjre .Company contributed to his insolvency. The bankrupt did .not keep proper boots, and was privy to the mutilation of cheque books besides the Beeston transaction.
