INDIFFERENT LISTENEES. WILSON'S HOLY CAREER. Received January 11, 9.20 a m. Brisbane, Wednesday. A female servant of a resident within 700 yards of tho scene of tho Gatton tragedy has stated to the police that at about 10 o'clock at night she heard two shots and a woman screaming, 'Ob, father ! save me ! " Tho servant attached no importance to the incident, and took no notice. Another resident also heard shots and screams, but treated them i s similarly. Received January 11, 11.45 a.m. Melbourne, Wednesday. The man Wilson, who has been arrested at Albany, was formerly a teacher at the Warnambool College, and at Adelaide and Broken Hill he acted as lay reader and Sunday-school teacher in several churches. A few days ago he wrote to two clergymen with whom he was formerly connected from Melbourne asking for money, as he urgently needed to go to Adelaide. ========= .
