PANIC ON SPANISH COAST.
AMERICA'S TERMS OF PEACE. NO INDEMNITY EXCEPT FOE THE MAINE. Beoelved July 17, S 20 p,m. Madrid, July 16. Great panic prevails in Barcelona and other Spanish coastal towns in fear of bombardment by America. The banks are removing specie to the interior. One Governor asserted that the Madrid authorities were powerless to afford them any help in case of emergency arising. Washington, July 16. It is stated that President M'Kinley is willing to surrender the Philippines, excepting Guam Island as a coaling station, provided Puerto Bico be ceded to America and Cuba declared independent. No indemnity will be demanded except in the case of the Maine explosion.
