Messrs Alfred Buckland and Sons report k that at Remuera on Thursday dairy cattle ■. • were in usual number, and fully kept late i values, those at pront ranged from £5 to £3 ' each; store cattle sold freely; throe-year-old I steers brought £5 ss, yonng dry cows £2 to £2 L ft, yearling heifers £1 17s 6d each ; young and fat calves were in Bhort snpply and sold ftoely at late values; fat cattle were in average number, and the ISO sold wore in demand throughout the sale at £12s per 1001 b. Sheep | were £n less supply than the average, only 9fiO I ' being yarded; fat sheep advanced In price, I wethers ranging up to 16s, and ewes 12s 3d I each; store sheep went at late values, ewes k fis, lambs 4s to 6s 6d each. Pigs were in usual R number, well-bred woanors were low in price ■s?^- and brought- from 2s to Ds, but fatted pigs I" kept" their nrices, and ranged from 153 to £116 b ■ - 16b each.
