Melbourne, Tuesday. The Government have adjourned the Vancouver mail question pending the receipt) of the views of the South Australian Government. The Premier aays that he does not feel disposed to subsidise lines of steamers not calling here. (Reoeived April 12, UAS a,m.) The liquidator's report on the Metropolitan Bank's affairs shows that the total depreciation of the asset 3 since the issue of the last balance sheet la £398,000, Messrs Huddart, Parker and Co, have decided to make Melbourne the terminal port ot the Vancouver service.
