At 11.30 this morning the Oreti, from Hokianga, which had orders to look out for the Maegregor, entered the Manukau harbor, and as , she reported that she had not seen anything of the missing vessel fears were entertained that somc-
thing had happened to her. Later, however, a steamp.l' under sail was reported to be oft' Hokianga, and it was hoped she would prove to be the Macgrcjror. This evening, however, Captain Pearce, of the steamer Durham, reported having sighted the Macgregor off Kaipara bar at noon today in tow of one of the steamers of the Northern Company, bound for the Manukan.
