Australians v. Auckland. [by telegraph.] Auckland, Tuesday. The match between the Australian eleven and an Auckland twenty-two was continued to-day. The Ancklanders concluded their first innings with a score of 114. The feature of their innings was D. Lynch's score of 46. The fine bowling of Garrett was also noticeable ; he lowered ten Auckland wickets at small cost. On the Australians' side to-day Jones played well and patiently for his score of 33, and Palmer also for his total of 50, not out. All changes possible were made in the bowling, but Palmer could not be induced to hit out. When time was called
