(Rccoiveil December 2, 5.30 p.m.) - A conference between the committee of ' the Imperial Institute and the AgentsGeneral took- place to-day, when the points of disagreement relative to the management of the Institute were discussed. The proceedings were of the most satisfactory character. The committee promised that colonial legislation as to the Imperial Institute should be. fully secured. All the, suggestions made by the Agents-General will be carried out, . Lut the nature of their suggestions has not yet transpired.
