[retjter's telegrams. I BOMBAY, July 28. Colonel Cavagnari, the British Resident, has arrived at Cabul. He had a brilliantreception, and the Ameer, Kahoob Khan, was most friendly, and the inhabitants ~ all very respectful. CONSTANTINOPLE, July 28. The Sultan has refused to accede to {he demand of Khairdevun (?) Pasha for the latter to nominate a Ministry ; and the Grand Vizier has resigned. Aurifi Pasha has been appointed Grand Vizier. " ' ~ BRISBANE, July 29. The National Association's Exhibition,was a great success. MELBOURNE, July 29. : ; The sculling match for the championship of Victoria has been fixed to take, place on the 23rd of August, between Hearn, of Wellington, and Messenger, the present champion.
