■ Invebcabgiix, December 21.The surrey party, at Stewart's Island, Maori Reserve, report finding two skeletons near Port Advantage. The natives suppose that they are the skeletons of men who had deserted from a whaler at Pegasus, nine'years ago ; at which time 6'ri'eWan, ' ! exhausted with forty days' travelling, reached their settlement. Photographs and coins have been found near, but no writing. - - ; «
