Arrival of the s.s. Star of the South.
The s.s. Star of the South, Bendall, left Auckland on the afternoon of Wednesday last ; experienced head winds and arrived off Tauranga at 1 1 a.m. next day. Landed cargo and passengers, and left again samo day (Thursday) for Awanui, under easy steam, arriving there on Friday at daylight. Landed some natives, aod left again at 8 a.m. ; rounded the East Cape at 4 p.m. same day, arriving in the roadstead at 9.30 a.m. last Saturday, entering tho Iron Pot at 4 p.m. This favorite cattle trading vessel will, in all probability, proceed to Auoklaud to-day,
