The Waiohine Biveb. — We noticepreparations are being made to improve the bridge over the creek known as Kempton's Creek, near Greytown. Mr. Ingley is also, we are informed, proceeding with his contract to divert the river to its original bed. The attention paid by the Provincial officials to the wants of the Wairarapa iv this particular! instance-^-so different from the indifference usually displayed—is worthy of recognition.— Wairarapa Mercury.
