BIRTH.
At Petane, on the 10th inst., the wife of Mr. J. B. McKaik of a son. Owing- to a pres? of advertisements, the letter °f our Poverty Bay correspondent, and several other communications are unavoidably deferred till our next. — On the same account, our report of the Waipukurau race meeting is of necessity held over.
