FROM AUCKLAND.

By the "Dolphin," we have papers to the Ist inst. Definite instructions had been received from Melbourne, through Major General Macarthur, for the immediate return to England of the sSth, which is to be withdrawn without relief. The 65th Regiment is to be augmented to 1200 bayonets ; 200 remaining at the depot in England, and 1000 being maintained for service in New Zealand. The Head Quarters, with, about 350 men, exclusive of officers! in command of Colonel Gold, are to be remover! with the least possible delay from Wellington to Auckland ; and, for that purpose, tonnage would be taken up in the latter. The remainder of the regiment will furnish detachments for Napier, Wellington, Wanganui, and New Plymouth. Tonnage is also required for the conveyance of the 58th Regiment from Auckland to Portsmouth. The rank and. file likely to leave, exclusive of officers, women, and children, it is supposed will be from 180 to 190.
