NOTICE. ELECTION OF TWO MEMBERS TO REPRESENT THE "AHURIRI DISTRICT" IN THE PROVINCIAL COUNCIL. IyiOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the -L* polling for the above mentioned purpose will take place simultaneously at the different polling places throughout the District on TUESDAY the 17th inst., at any time between the hours of 9 o'clock in the morning, and 4 o'clock in the afternoon of the same day. The state of the Poll will be declared by me at noon on Tuesday the 24th instant. Dated at the Resident Magistrate's Court at Napier, this third day of November 1857. JOHN CURLING, Returning Officer. OUR SUPPLEMENT, to appear on Monday, will contain the letter of Rev. W. Colenso, that of "Old Colonist" and a variety of matter excluded by pressure of advertisements from this issue. ' We must also crave the indulgence of our advertising friends.
