MR C. A. WILKINSON’S
CAMPAIGN
Continuing his campaign for the Egmont seat Mr C. A. "Wilkinson (Independent! addressed between 60 and 70 electors at Kapuni last night., including a. fair number of ladies and young people exercising their vote ioi the first time.
Mr C. Cave was chairman. The candidate spoke on the same lines as his address' the previous night at Okaiawa and answered numerous questions relating to matters of public interest. . A A-ote of thanks and commendation to Mr Wilkinson for his past services and an expression of the meeting’s good wishes for the future was moved by Mr W. E. Scott and seconded by Mr T. Luscombe.
