lIAWEBA BOXING TOURNEY. FISHER TO MEET GORDON? Preliminary arrangements for a jirofessional boxing -contest at. Ilawera on December 4 between Frank Hutchins, of EltJmm, and Don Stirling, of Dunedin, the New Zealand welterweight champion, were made at a meeting of the Hawera Boxing Association last night. Air A. H. Guy presided.

It was decided that an endeavour be made to arrange a special amateur bout between N. Fisher, of Christchurch, and 0. Gordon, of Patea, both of whom are prominent contenders for selection in the New Zetaland team for the -Olympic Games. They are respectively the present lightweight and featherweight titleholjders, while Gordon Avon the Jamiesorn Belt last year and Fisher this yearr. .Should they meet it will be a bout of six twominuto rounds. The secretary of the association, Mr S. R. Veiteli, was instructed to offer a liberal expense allowance to Fisher should he decide to make the trip.
