CALF REARING COMPETITIONS

SOUTH TARANAKI ITINERARY

The itinerary for judging entries at South and Central Taranaki schools in the calf rearing competitions of the South Taranaki Boys and Girls’ Agricultural Clubs Association has been drawn up and will be submitted to a meeting of the executive this week for approval. -At each group centre a cow judging competition, open to primary school children, will be conducted, and will be field half an hour oefore the time set clown for calf judging. At the championship judging at Eltliam a special class will be held for two-year-old animals in milk. A medal will be awarded the winner. Five entries must be received or there will be no competition and entries are to be made with the secretary by Deceinuer 13. The following is the itinerary for South Taranaki, the number of entries being shown in parentheses: Group 4. November 19: Cardiff (12) 1.30 p.m., Mahoe (12) 2.15 p.m. November 25: Rowan (4) 10 a.in., Kaponga (4) 10.45 a.m., Kaponga Convent (43) 11.30 a.m. Total entries in group, 45 Group 5.-
