PRISONER RECAPTURED
NOVEL METHOD OF ESCAPE, (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph I Oooyright). BRISBANE, Sept. 13. Arthur Watson, aged 21, who escaped from the Boggo Road gaol on August 6, was recaptured at Goondiwindi. He told the* police that &ince his escape he had worked at ringbarking on a farm and was at Tara for three weeks. A novel method was adopted by Watson, who was employed as a kitchen boy for the prison superintendent. He eluded the guards in stolen clothes and went to the Archerfield aerodrome and there represented himself as the son of the superihterident. He took his seat in the ’plane for Toowoomba and, unknown to authorities of that town, he landed and disappeared while the police were still searching for him in Brisbane.
