BEFiR COUNTERACTS RACQUET'S DOCTORS IN~CONFERENCE. (United Press Association —By Electric Telegraph Copyright.) MELBOURNE, Sept. 11. Popular theories were upset at a meeting of t.ho special medicine section of the British Medical Association congress to-day when seme of the world’s most eminent medical men decreed that obesity was not due to over-eating. Dieting was dangerous in many cases of obesity and exercise was an over-rated element in its treatment. Lord Honler presided. Professor C. G. Cambio, Sydney, said the beneficial effect c.n reducing weight by one game of squash racquets woxdd be counteracted by a pint of beer or two cocktails.
