Second Round of Championships The weather for the first qualifying round of the Hawera Ladies’ Golf Club championship was very trying and as a result the scores were very disappointing. The draw for the second round, to be played this week, is as follows: Mrs Whitehead v. Mrs Walkley, Miss Wills v. Miss Burgess, Mrs Dalgetty v. Miss V. Death, Mrs Thomson -v. Miss R. Pease, Mrs Pease v. Miss Richardson, Mrs McAnerin v. Mrs Gibson, Miss Tonks v. Miss M. Bright, Mrs Corey v. Mrs Davy, Mrs Budge v. Mrs Anderson, Mrs Kay v. Mrs Norman, Mrs Hawthorne v. Miss Elliott, Miss B. Ryan v. Miss McLean, Mrs L. Hall v. Mrs Giblin, Miss Good v. Miss Carson, Mrs Cox v. Mrs Collier, Mrs Goodwin v. Mrs Pickett,. Mrs Lewis v. Mrs Wylds, Mrs Dingle v. Miss Robb. Players are once more reminded of the forthcoming tourhament. Te Ngutu to Play Patea A Te NgutU team will play Patea at Te Ngutu to-morrow: Mesdames Cottrell, Robertson, Buxton, Penny, J. Barclay, Struthers, L. Preeee and Betts, Misses O’Dowd (2), O’Sullivan, Sutherland, Hutchinson, Joyce and Audrey Betts.
