Mr Richard Clancy, of the ferry steamer Rangatira, was presented with a framed certificate of the Royal Humane Society for tlie .rescue of a seaman w T ho fell into the harbour while painting a ship on March 4. The ceremony took place in the dining saloon, the Rangatira’s master presenting the certificate, and Mr P. F. Coira, representative in Wellington of the society, extended congratulations.
