EXPORTS SHOW A DECLINE. (by Telegrapn—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, July 23. The overseas trade returns for New Zealand (excluding specie) show that exports for June, 1935, were £3,227.000, compared.' with'£3,295,000 in 1934 and £3,701,000 in 1933.. Imports were £2,356,000 in 1035, £1,728,000 in 1934 and £2,042,000 in 1933.' The excess of exports amounted to £871,000 in 1935, £1.567,000 in 1934 and £1,659,000 in 1933*

For the six months ended June, 1935, exports were £27,109,000, compared with £31,498,000 in 1934 and £23,362,000 in 1933. ~ The excess of exports amounted to £10,391,000 in ’.935, £17,742,000 in 1934,- and £lO,728,000 in. 1933. For the twelve months ended .June, 1935, exports amounted to £42,954,000, compared with £49,142,000 in 1934 and £37,470,000 in 1933. Imports totalled £34,302,000, compared with £26,703,(>OO in 1934 and £25,290,000 in 1933. The excess of exports amounted to £8.652.00 in 1935, £22,439,000 in 193-1 and £12,180,000 in 1933. All values are -expressed in terms of New Zealand currency. ■ There was no export of specie in June, 1935. Imports amounted to £49..
