LEVEL CROSSING FATALITY

ACCIDENTAL DEATH VERDICT. (By Telegraph —Press Association.) HASTINGS, To-day. “Accidentally killed,” was the verdict returned by Mr G. Bbbott, coroner, at an inquest this morning into the death of Royal William John Loo, a chimney sweep, as the result of a collision with a train while driving a horse and cart across a railway crossing on May 14. The coroner said the train was travelling at its usual speed and the whistle was blown twice in approaching the crossing. Had the deceased kept a proper look-out he would have seen the train, and the crossing was not a dangerous one.
