Miss D. Corbett, of Okaiawa, spent last week-end at Auroa. Mr and Mrs Fraser and Miss Fraser have returned from Welling ton. , . „ . Miss M. Meuli had the misfortune recently to - fall and break her arm. She is’ making progress towards recovery. , , , r , Mr and Mrs A. Wards and son lelt for Pio Pio this week. The fortnightly euchre and dance arranged bv the Okaiawa Football Club in aid of D. Kara- was held m the hall on Tuesday evening. I'.ucliro prizes were won by Mrs W . Jolinston and Mrs Mack, Mr H. Gamlin and Mr W. Bridgewood. Supper was served bv the social committee. Music for the dance was provided by the Maori orchestra, while Mr Sid. Cleaver was Master of Ceremonies.
